Pet Health & Wellness Care with Vaccinations, Parasite Prevention & Nutrition
Thorough checkups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems and prevent complications before they become life threatening. At Crescenta Valley Veterinary Hospital, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination for every dog, cat, bird, exotic, and pocket pet.
We offer a wide range of veterinary services with a focus on preventive care to keep your companions feeling their best. In each exam room, we provide access to educational information on a wide variety of topics—something for every pet owner. The Pet Health Network touch-screen monitors are available in each exam room for personal exploration of all aspects of pet wellness and disease. It includes instructive videos and detailed anatomy information.
Pet Wellness Exams
We offer regular health screenings with our nose-to-tail annual physical exam. Preventive health care recommendations are made and a plan is created that meets the exact needs of your pet.

Recommendations for pet health may include blood, urine, fecal, heartworm, tick-borne disease, feline immunodeficiency and leukemia virus tests, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dietary advice, and lifestyle changes. We conduct examinations twice a year for all pets over seven years of age and for those with chronic diseases or on long-term medications.

Microchips
Microchip identification is a quick, safe, permanent method to ensure your pet is always identified and quickly returned to you. It is proven safe and effective and is particularly useful during earthquakes or other disasters, accidents, or for escapees. HomeAgain microchip registration also includes pet identification cards and Lost Pet Injury Insurance.
